Nichole Ovens is a dynamic leader with over 20 years of experience promoting sustainable energy, healthy communities and decarbonized built environments. As Senior Manager of Workforce Development and Training, she spearheads strategic training initiatives that empower highly qualified “green collar” and trades workers, support thriving local economies, and protect our planet’s precious resources.
With a background in construction, renewable energy systems, and public health emergency response, Nichole brings a unique blend of hands-on experience and industry knowledge to her role. She has led innovative projects involving fire/disaster-resilient and energy-efficient building solutions, as well as water conservation and battery storage systems. Nichole has also developed countless winning proposals and marketing strategies to advance clean energy, healthy living and high-performance building initiatives. Her ability to establish and nurture strategic partnerships and translate complex concepts into actionable educational programs helps equip professionals and community members with the skills and knowledge needed to drive sustainable change.
Nichole has a Master’s in Public Health from Oregon State University and a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of Denver.
